GAM (Global Automotive & Manufacturing) is their largest department with 5,500+ employees which focuses on Automotive and Manufacturing globally. Their clients are top Car OEMs, tier-1, and chipmakers worldwide.
Our client is a global
provider of Digital Business Transformation, Digital Engineering, and
Information Technology (IT) outsourcing services that accelerate our clients’
journey to their Digital Future. They serve global companies in Banking,
Financial Services, Insurance, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Telecommunications,
Media, Entertainment, Travel, Manufacturing, and Technology industries.
The role is for their Automotive and Manufacturing Business Unit, Most new cars
(regardless of brand, country and segment) should use some software developed
by their team. This is due to their work for the biggest automotive companies, Tier-1s and OEMs.
Millions of IoT devices
operate and connect to other devices/infrastructure running their software.
Responsibilities
As
Sales Director,
your key responsibilities include:
Ø Establish relationships
with new customers and secure contracts with new customers that achieve
assigned sales quotas and targets.
Ø Drive the entire sales
cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales (and in some cases
through delivery and payment collection as mentioned above).
Ø Prospect for potential
customers using various direct methods such as calling and face to face
meetings, and indirect methods such as networking.
Ø Qualify prospects
against company criteria for ideal customers and sales.
Ø Consult with prospect
about business challenges and requirements, as well as the range of options and
cost benefits of each.
Ø Maintain a high level
of relevant domain knowledge to have meaningful conversations with prospects.
Ø Make presentations to
senior managers and decision makers.
Ø Draft and deliver
proposals.
Ø Work with technical
staff and product specialists where required to address customer requirements.
Ø Develop and maintain
territory plans which outline how sales targets will be met on an ongoing
basis.
Ø Develop and maintain
key account plans that identify opportunities for the company to deliver value,
strategic motivators, main stakeholders, buying processes and forecasted sales.
Ø Report on sales
activity (include desired frequency – daily is ideal for accuracy)
Ø Keep detailed notes on
prospect and customer interactions in CRM tools.
Ø Provide forecasts on
best case and most likely sales volumes over relevant time periods.
Ø Work with delivery
teams to proactively address problems.
Ø Cultivate strong
relationships with third party and partner companies that may be required to
deliver full solutions to customers.
Ø Work with marketing to
plan and execute lead generation campaigns.
Ø Provide feedback to
sales management on ways to decrease the sales cycle, enhance sales, and
improve company brand and reputation.
Ø Provide feedback to
company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and
opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company
offerings.
Ø Identify sales support
requirements and work with marketing to develop improve sales tools.
Ø Be a positive representative of the company
and its brand in the marketplace.
Ø Conduct all sales activities with the highest
degree of professionalism and integrity.
Ø Required
Skills and Qualifications
Ø BS/MS in Computer
Science or equivalent work experience
Ø Minimum of 10 years’
experience in new sales activities and client acquisition.
Ø Strong understanding of
the software services industries and solutions
Ø In-depth
understanding/network in the automotive industry is a MUST.
Ø Experience with IT
services companies in selling Digital Transformation, cloud migration, managed
services, Engineering services...
Ø Solid English verbal
and written communication skills.
