Project Coordinator
Compensation: Base is $55K-$65K + Bonus
Location: Hybrid – Office Cambridge, ON (work from home 2 days)
Reports to: Director, National B2B Sales

About the job
What will you do? As the Project Coordinator for the Commercial Sales Team, you are an accomplished project planning and execution expert with extensive experience in managing contractor and supplier relationships and project schedules in the Commercial HVAC and Water Heater and Water Treatment industry. You will be responsible for the coordination of materials, parts and resources necessary to execute the client’s portfolio of technical and service offerings
Key Responsibilities:
• Leads the administration, coordination of materials, resources, transportation, and parts in the execution of a project once Sales has provided all the details necessary for the execution of an order.
• Administration of warranty on existing projects within the 12-month window after installation.
• Builds relationships with third party commercial subcontractors to ensure dedicated response for the required client’s installation and service experience.
• Holds suppliers, branch teams, and contractors accountable to install plans and logistics.
• Provides input and recommendations on process improvements for better sales and execution experience by our customers.
• Provides support and technical expertise on supported Commercial Equipment to the sales team and Management.
• Represents the organization (internal and external) as a prime contact for contractors and vendors regarding the technologies supported and in program development.
• Work with Sales to ensure the specifications for an order (equipment, delivery requirements, installation contractors etc.) are correct and can be met.
• Handle customer calls on an as needed basis, participates in Trade Shows and Marketing events as needed.
• Build relationships with the Operation’s Managers in the Branches where execution of Commercial Projects is taking place to ensure continuity and clarification of duties and responsibilities when supporting the service or installation of projects.
• Partners with others to make sure to solve problems, reach decisions and achieve objectives.
• Maintains clear communication of mutual expectations, customers or sales and is eager to learn and create new procedures and grow according to business needs.
• Understand and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and clauses to recommend equipment options and estimates
• Provide occasional afterhours support.
• Other duties as required.
Skills, Abilities and Experience:
• Assertive, diplomatic, and professional communication skills.
• Skilled at analysis and planning.
• College Diploma – Equivalent Experience will be considered
• 5-8 years of experience in the field of Commercial HVAC, Water heater or Water Purification
• Solid computer skills required (MS Word, Excel, Windows, CRM and PowerPoint)
• A commitment to continued personal and professional growth is important.
• Strong team orientation and driven to achieve sales and corporate goals.
